If under your kitchen sink is like mine it’s a collection of plastic bags, cleaners and other miscellaneous items that’s just thrown in. This week we are decluttering the space under our kitchen sink. I am in no way telling you how to organize your space. My intention is for us to declutter our spaces and become more tidy so we have more free time.
Let’s get started.
These photos are 100% true to how my house is. I choose to not buy new things to organize, however feel free to use whatever suits you.
Like I said 100% real. My house is far from perfect. We have busy schedules and it’s hard to keep up with the demand of motherhood. ( Or fatherhood or the hood in general)
Items are just haphazardly thrown in. A pile of Walmart bags that I’m saving takes up half a cabinet. It’s pretty disturbing.
I started by taking everything out. To see exactly what I was working with.
I then rummaged through the pile and discarded everything I didn’t need.
After I discarded all trash I out the items that I needed back. I did not shop for this organization. The goal is to quicky tidy. I did. However add a lazy Susan for my paints.
Things I discarded
- Plastic bags
- Empty boxes
- Used cleaning sponges
Things I kept
- Cleaning supplies
- Trash bags
Remember tidy up should only take a few minutes, don’t over do yourself.
